CH401M4 is the work horse of the “Charlie’s Horse” Deployment System. It is a four-wheeled super duty, multi-purpose, collapsible cart which multiplies the effectiveness of men deploying material into remote areas without heavy lift equipment. The unique design of this unit allows for the four wheels to be expanded to six or eight, depending of the mission requirements, enhancing maneuverability and stability over diverse terrain. The CH401 models have the unique capability of adapting to transport stretchers, tents, ordnance and a host of other equipment. Standard components include a carry bag, wagon with hard polymer bottom and ends, pair of detachable saddlebags and four (4) accessory clamps (CH411). Available accessories include: dual wheels (CH471 NSN # 3920-01-511-3701), harness (CH491) and either Raven or Talon Stretchers. The unit weighs 90 lbs. with a cargo capacity of 750 lbs. The cargo area is 22” x 55” x 10”.
